Merry Christmas

Sometimes you find you just don't have the right colour cardstock. I found a neat little trick that will save you money, not so much saving time but you will have loads of colour choices.
All you have to do is die cut your shape out of white cardstock and then colour the shape.
For example this Ornate Poinsettia die from Cottoage Cutz was cut from white and coloured with Copic Markers R46,24 and 14, the green is YG93.

Santa's waiting :)

What a beautiful fall day it was today.  Perfect sweater weather!  Then before you know it the snow will be falling and Christmas won't be so far away.  Today I have a card that focuses on Copic's, the soft look of the  "no line" technique.  To keep the focus on the images I decided it needed to be monochromatic with a big splash of colour.  So I die cut the Country Landscape from Memory Box on cream cardstock and overlayed it onto a cream card front.  Then stamped the images with Desert Sand Memento ink and coloured with Copics.  The little teardrop size Memento ink are an awesome way to get a load of colours cheap!! :)
here's a close up
I use chalk to "blush" the cheeks and white gel pen for shiney parts.
The stamps are from There She Goes called Ho ho ho

Cutie Pi

So are you up for a little science?  Here are two cards I made using the same paper pad and stamp set.  The stamps are called "Cutie Pi" from There She Goes and the paper is called "Boys Life" by Echo Park.

Friends and fur babies

Good morning everyone!
I have been playing around with the stamp set "In all the world" to make some cards for friends who are dog lovers.  I tried to keep them simple (just a few mats) with white space and colouring with Copics.
You can find the "In all the world" stamp set here.
and there's a similar set for all your canine besties called "Ruh Roh" I think you'll love. :)
